female exclusive: Our interview with Madam Solange

Decléor’s founder and ambassador, Madam Solange Dessimoulie talks to us about the brand and its achievements to date.

Could you share some of Decléor’s brand principles with us?

“At the heart of our products lies certitude: the power of essential oils. Essential oils are a unique source of energy and we take pride in Decléor‘s selection process of essential oils used in our products. With the combination of our Aromapressure massage technique, the essential oil connects with the body’s energy meridians. The exchange of energy for relaxation, inner balance and well-being occurs.”

Tell us more about Decléor’s current achievements in the beauty arena.

“To determine the effectiveness of essential oils, Decléor has distinguished itself from its competitors by carrying out advanced, in-depth research on the effects of essential oils on our skin. To date, our laboratories have performed more than 60 in-depth studies (in vitro or ex vivo studies) on around thirty different essential oils, for a range of applications: anti-ageing, moisturising, slimming, and more.”

What does the brand aim to achieve in the near future?

“In 2012, Decléor plans to strengthen the magnitude of its product ranges as well as recruit new consumers on both sides of the age spectrum. We will re-launch our Aroma Pureté range with a new formula and products. The ultimate Anti-Ageing Excellence range will be given a body focus while our Cleansing ritual will get an update with the renewal of our cleansing portfolio.”

Are there plans for collaboration with major beauty and fashion brands anytime soon?
