Bello’s nail technician, Tiffany, took a long look at my fingernails; assessing their condition and decided that the Bello Signature Hand Care Treatment will do wonders for me!

During this hour-long nail treatment, Tiffany shared some important tips on how to look after my nails right as well as discussed the common nail afflictions that most of her customers face and the misconceptions people have about getting a manicure or pedicure done.

 Here’s the breakdown of this pampering process:

1. The session begins with shaping of the nails.
2. Light Concept Nails’ (LCN) Nail Builder is applied at the nail bed and massaged upwards.
3. Hands and nails are soaked in lukewarm water.
4. After wiping them dry, Creative Nail Design’s (CND) Solar Oil is applied and cuticles are pushed back. Then, the trimming of the excess cuticles is done.
5. To prevent infection, LCN’s antiseptic formula is applied on the nail bed. This is followed by the application of CND’s Cuticle Eraser.
6. Before filing the nails, LCN Natural Care Cream and Nail Scrub are applied on the nail plates to revitalise them.  Next, LCN’s Nail Mask is left on for one to two minutes.
7. CND’s Almond Moisture Scrub is used to scrub away dead skin cells on the forearms.
8. The scrub granules are washed off.
9. Next, the nail mask is removed.
10. CND’s Almond Illuminating Mask is applied to the forearms and they are then wrapped in cling film.
11. The nail surface is cleaned thoroughly.
12. After the cling film is taken off, the illuminating hand mask is removed with a hot towel.
13. CND’s Almond Hydrating Lotion is applied on the forearms and hands.
14. LCN’s Diamond Base is applied to the nails.
15. Then, two coats of O.P.I. Nail Polish in NL E43 Give Me Moor! is applied to the nails.
16. Finally, the session is completed with the application of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

When the treatment ended, all I could do was to stare at my hands in astonishment. My dull, pallid skin and slightly yellowish nails looked amazing! The hand and nails makeover worked! You can see the difference here:

The 15 minute-look

1. Start off with a sheer and hydrating liquid foundation, dabbing it on your nose, forehead and chin before spreading the base outwards with your fingertips.
2. Apply a powder with highlighting benefits on your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose and forehead to achieve a subtle iridescence.
3. Prep the surface of your skin with an eyeshadow base for staying power before putting on eye makeup.
